Here are a couple Christmas videos that I forgot about, and one more recent "eating" video.
Just learning to fall off a horse.
The battle with the Roomba.
Just one bean at a time.

Having lots of fun!
Casey's personality is emerging more and more each day. He's starting to show preference to certain toys and knows many of them by name (Although he doesn't say them yet, he will look at or go get something if we call it by name), still loves chasing the cats around the house, laughs when daddy puts on a silly hat, likes to wrestle, and is an expert "peek-a-boo" player. He also likes to play the little game of "no" where he goes and taps on the tv with a toy, we say "no" and he smiles, runs around the room and heads back to the tv for more. So he's figuring out what he's not supposed to do, and he looks at us expectantly to tell him so. He also knows about being praised for things. He loves to put wooden rings on a spindle, and when on the webcam with Grandma, he looks at the monitor after each ring because Grandma likes to clap for him when he does it. Now, of course he expects applause and gives a big grin.

Last time we let Casey pick out his own outfit.

Nice, neat little playroom after bedtime.

... and here it is just before bedtime. (with Belle at a safe distance)

A much more active Christmas.
We were trying to think about what we did last Christmas when Casey was only a month old. All we could remember was that we were not sleeping much and Casey was oblivious to what was going on around him. Well this year was quite the change! He is still not really interested in presents but the tissue paper was something special! You can shred it, and when it gets small enough you can put it in your mouth without anyone noticing. And of course, HE notices EVERYTHING! And he's into everything. We didn't get as many pictures as hoped because we were too busy chasing him around keeping him from breaking Mimi's things (and Michael's, Matthew's, Aunt Amy's, and Uncle Mike's too) The only thing he had permission to destroy was Mike's Clemson hat!
Anyway, it was a wonderful holiday and we enjoyed seeing everyone! We look forward to a trip to Nebraska (we hope) sometime in the Spring to meet all kinds of other new people.

Casey reacts to final score of the Gator Bowl.

Trying to decide what to do with Uncle Mike's Clemson hat ... hmmm ....

Check out the new jammies (we just had to wear them all day on Christmas-Mommy thought they were too cute to change him)

Watching Christmas Story (for the third time)

running to get to the next thing.

With Aunt Amy

Too fast for the camera! (Casey and Matthew)

Calming down with a computer game with Mimi

The only puppy he's gonna get. (yeah, mean parents. Give me a break!)

Matthew, Michael, and Casey

Casey's nesting/stacking blocks

Which usually stay stacked for about 5 seconds.

Lily and Belle really stick together!
