March Madness!

We had a nice visit with Grandma (from Nebraska) last week. Aside from all of us having colds at one time or another, it was very pleasant. We're looking forward to seeing her again in April as we go to NE for a birthday party! We hope this airplane trip will go better than last time.


Casey likes Daddy's new tv. Usually prefers "Blue's Clues" but he allowed us to watch some basketball too.

Of course he managed to get a bad scrape on his face before Annette got home from her meeting in Houston.

More to life than numbers, right?

Well, in case you're wondering, our little guy does more than just say his numbers. He says them in conjunction with many other activities:


He walks ... and counts his steps with his dollar-store pedometer



He plays the piano ... and counts the "tracks" on his CD.


He reads Daddy's book ... well, he says the page and chapter numbers.


He plays basketball ... and counts the number of baskets he makes. (Actually, he's a pretty good shot)


He sleeps ... probably dreaming of counting something.
