Numbers Numbers Everywhere!

Well, Casey's latest thing is to ask Mommy and Daddy (and babysitters) to make numbers out of play-dough. I'm getting so good at it I may put it on my resume. He loves to line them up and make various combinations. Most of the time he can recognize numbers up to 100, and any time he sees numbers on a book he has to recite them (including page numbers). He sometimes gets them backwards, but hey, he's only 2 1/2!

The sun and the trumpet and the news!

Casey likes to watch the sun and listen to the trumpet on the CBS Sunday Morning program. Now he can play along!

Memorial weekend was "potty training weekend" for us. I can say that it is going pretty well so far (knock on whatever wood-like substance you can find). Accidents are fairly infrequent, underwear is cute, and we may actually venture out of the house with Casey one of these days.

More deck painting in store this weekend and prep for painting the bathroom continues (remind me to NEVER hang wall paper-unless of course I know that some poor sap I don't like will have to take it down some day)

He normally doesn't bounce up and down while saying grace, but I think he was playing to the camera. the inflection is pretty normal though.
