Casey gives us the run around!

My Aunt Dorothy in Nebraska has a daycare business in her house, and when the kids get rambunctious, she literally sends them outside to run around the house a few times (maybe not now with hip-deep snow on the ground). I think Mr. Casey would fit in quite well there. It's amazing the amount of energy he expends between 6 and 7:30 each night.

This video makes me want to lay down and take a nap!

And this one I tried to load for the last entry but it wouldn't work. Casey's new mixer.

"Merry Kippits and Happy New Ear!"

Happy New Year everyone! We had a very nice holiday and are just starting to feel like we are back to normal, just in time to go back to work. Casey raked in the gifts of course, with his favorites being his toy mixer, his spinning-snowman-face thingie (from Grandma York), his shopping cart, his play food, and his play kitchen (put together after the New Year).

Casey decided it was time to crawl out of the pack-n-play while at Mimi's house so Mimi got the honor of having her light turned on at 6:30 am several mornings by a wide-awake little boy. We just heard him say "go see Mimi" and by the time we got there, he was gone!

He crawled out of the crib the first night we were home too so we took off the rails and voila! -- day-bed! (He calls it his "different bed" because it's not really "new"). He fell out the first night though. Annette heard a "thump" and found him still asleep on his floor (we put out pillows), so Daddy had to scoop him up and put him back. No problems since.

Anyway, here are some of the highlights:

"plugging in" his blocks

OK, back to the real plug

Mimi hit a home run with the new mixer!

Casey and the boys (Michael and Matthew)

Boy, he loves his Matthew!

Casey's new kitchen!! (I have never seen so many tiny pieces -- welcome to Santahood!)

Looks pretty good though (finally!)

new sleeping arrangement. Glad we can still lock the door from the outside!

And when he's naughty, he sleeps under the bed!

"Christmas Moose" from Cathy

And the shopping cart too!!

Yeah, we got a dusting of snow before Christmas, and he wanted to swing -- happy little kid.

Holiday greetings to Belle.
