Time to rest from vacation.

Whew! It's always nice to get back from those "relaxing" vacations! We all had the best time in Nebraska visiting with family and friends. Our second plane trip with Casey went MUCH better than the first (when he was sitting on our laps 2 years ago). Thank God for DVD players is all I have to say!

Casey had a wonderful time with all his cousins and Aunts and Uncles, and of course, Grandma (and her magic poker machine). Everyone between Newport News, Atlanta, and Kansas City, whether in the airport or on the plane, knew that we were "going to Grandma's house!" I think people got a kick out of Casey's loud announcements, and we just sort of took it in stride that he was a happy traveler. Thanks to Aunt Janie and Uncle Russ for putting us up! And to Uncle Rick and Aunt Susan for letting us hang at their house for much of our visit too.

We got a lot of mileage out of that DVD player!

making banana bread with Aunt Janie!

Oh, and lots of crafts at Aunt Janie's too (working with Amelia, before her dramatic haircut that you will see below)
