We got through the hurricane just fine. Power stayed on, and we only had a few large limbs to deal with. Several of my coworkers are still without power 3 days after the storm, so we are VERY lucky. We got 6-8 inches of rain. Our roof held out too!
Thanks to Hurricane Irene! Luckily this tree (in our neighbor's yard) didn't smash anything too badly in our yard.
